Boys Varsity Baseball · American Legion Baseball Tournament – Let’s Play Ball!

The American Legion Baseball State Tournament, was a welcome return to sports. Ernest M. Henry Post 438, faced Ponstein’s. Both teams and fans alike, couldn’t have been happier to hear the sweetest words in baseball, “Let’s Play Ball.” The LHSAA Spring baseball season was cut short on March 12, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, because of the distance between players on the diamond, it was safe to take the field. In front of a crowd of 150 people, on Saturday, June 20, everyone was happy to have sports starting again.
